About
Environmentally friendly architecture builds on existing qualities. Architecture that transforms
Philosophy of Tai Schomaker
The existing building stock is open for development, adapts to new needs, and wears a new identity. Particularly post-war buildings offer a variety of potential, including in peripheral areas. Spatial potential, light, air, greening. The conversion of, for example, 1970s reinforced concrete buildings offers flexibility and endless design possibilities. And not only is money saved, but also time, because much already exists. The reuse of existing elements also saves large amounts of CO2 and thus achieves demanding sustainability requirements.
Of course, Tai Schomaker also has solid experience in new construction. Particularly through the use of natural and healthy building materials such as clay or wood, he will plan extensions or property developments with you in an environmentally conscious manner.
Tai Schomaker is a qualified architect with a diploma from Paris and over 15 years of professional experience in Berlin. He is a member of the Architects for Future network since 2020 and has been committed to sustainable transformation in construction since being a student. He reliably guides your construction project from feasibility through to the operational phase. He has obtained scores of challenging building permits. As an owner of post-war buildings in need of renovation, you are in excellent hands with him. And not only in Germany, but also in French and Italian-speaking regions.
Conversion Architecture is Future-Proof – resource-efficient, economical, and design-diverse.
