Hybrid Urbanism

It starts with an analyze of the qualities and strength of a Seoul slum plan survey. Additional knowledge about traditional Korean spaces improved the design of the same amount of units than in the slum, but increasing their average area from 15 m² to 75 m². The same methodology is been used in a second phase, but on a Parisian case : the passages of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine. Learning to cross-integrate contextual qualities in design concepts. The influences of each element, traditional and modern, Asiatic and European, have been the base ingredients for a hybrid urbanism methodology.
